So I decided to design and build a high-end dumb phone.
I knew this was in the realm of possibility because I’d seen an MIT Media Lab’s David Mellis publish plans for a DIY cellphone.
Here’s the current design, as of June 2015:
Now that I’ve made a working prototype, I’m now refining the aesthetics. More details later.
