After Ryan and I shipped copies to our backers, I finally had some time over the Thanksgiving holiday to get back to designing the workshop. In particular, deciding whether I should insulate.

My math skills have gotten rusty (occupational hazard of software “engineering”), so I fortified myself with a few pints and dove in swinging with differential equations, Mathematica, and ugly charts until I had my answer:
